Thralls are creatures, usually undead, who are under the mental or spiritual control of a spellcaster. Unintelligent or bestial thralls require the direction of their owner to act. Intelligent Thralls can act on their own and will act mostly in their owner's best interest, but they are prone to resisting control and may resent the control.

Thralls have the same stats as their mundane counterparts as well as the same special abilities.

A Thrall lacking sapient intelligence will obey any commands issued by its owner to the best of its ability. It will continue to perform its last command until issued a new command or its current task is completed.

Thralls with high intelligence understand the magical shackles they wear. They will behave as loyal retainers, fully capable of interpreting their master's instructions to the best of their ability. However, a mistreated Thrall will quickly begin undermining its master and attempting to break free at every opportunity.
